The national team of Azerbaijan was the first in the World age group Competition in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling held in Birmingham, Great Britain.
Idman.biz reports that the trampoline gymnasts Samira Huseynova and Ayan Shabanova won a silver medal in the synchronized program.
This is the first achievement among women in the World age group Competition in the history of Azerbaijani gymnastics.
Ibrahim Mustafazada and Ammar Bakhshaliyev (trampoline gymnastics) also achieved the same success in Birmingham. They also rose to the second place in the synchronized program.
It should be noted that Aleksey Karatashov won a bronze medal in tumbling a day ago.
