Azerbaijan’s national rhythmic gymnastics team has departed for Sofia, Bulgaria, to compete in the Junior World Championships.
The tournament will kick off on June 18 and conclude on June 22, Idman.biz reports.
In the individual events, Azerbaijan will be represented by Shams Agahuseynova, Ilaha Bahadirova, Fidan Gurbanli, and Azada Atakishiyeva.
The group routines will feature Nazrin Abdullayeva, Roya Alikishiyeva, Ayan Nasirova, Shams Muwaffaqi, and Nazrin Salmanli.
A total of 370 gymnasts from 72 countries are set to compete at the championship.
