Formula 1 team Red Bull have announced a contract extension for Isack Hadjar ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
As reported by İdman.Biz citing the official Formula 1 website, the new agreement will see the French driver remain with the Austrian team for the 2027 season.
Hadjar joined Red Bull ahead of the current campaign, replacing Yuki Tsunoda and becoming the teammate of four-time world champion Max Verstappen. The Frenchman has regularly scored points this season and finished third at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Hadjar missed the last three rounds due to a wrist injury. The 21-year-old is set to return to action this weekend at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
"I am very happy to continue racing for Red Bull. From the first moment after signing my contract, I set myself the goal of fully dedicating myself to the team. I am always trying to listen, learn and improve every day," Hadjar said.
Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies said the driver's performances made the decision to extend his contract an easy one.
"Since joining us, Isack has been outstanding both on and off the track. This contract extension shows how much confidence we have in him. We are looking forward to seeing him back on track," Mekies said.
Hadjar is a graduate of the Red Bull junior programme. He made his Formula 1 debut with Racing Bulls in 2025 and claimed his first podium at the Dutch Grand Prix.
