Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli has spoken highly of four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen and his attitude towards fellow drivers.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Antonelli revealed that he values the advice he receives from the Red Bull driver.
“I am always very happy to listen to Max’s advice. It is always useful, especially in certain situations. Max is a great person, and it is nice to see that he thinks so highly of me. At Monza, just like Lando, he came to congratulate me after the race. It is exactly this kind of attitude that shows Max is a champion both on and off the track.
“Despite his achievements and the level of his skill, he is an exceptional person. Not everyone sees this side of him, although many people have discovered it in recent years. When you really get to know him, you understand that he is not only a great driver but also a great person,” Antonelli said.
After 14 rounds of the Formula 1 season, Antonelli leads the Drivers’ Championship with 292 points. Verstappen is sixth in the standings with 145 points.
