Lando Norris extends McLaren contract until at least 2030

Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has extended his contract with McLaren.

As reported by İdman.Biz, the new agreement with the 26-year-old British driver will run until at least the end of the 2030 season and includes an option to extend the partnership beyond that date.

Norris' previous contract with the British team was due to expire at the end of 2027.

The Briton has spent his entire Formula 1 career with McLaren. After progressing through the team's development programme, he was promoted to a full-time race seat in 2019 and has since established himself as one of the leading drivers on the grid.

During his Formula 1 career, Norris has claimed 13 Grand Prix victories, secured 18 pole positions and finished on the podium 48 times.

His biggest achievement came in 2025, when he won his first Formula 1 Drivers' Championship title.

The new long-term agreement means McLaren have secured the services of their world champion for at least four more seasons beyond 2026.
