Details of Max Verstappen's salary following his contract extension with Red Bull have been revealed.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Formula 1 insider Joe Saward claims the Dutch driver will earn around $100 million per year under his new agreement.
Including various bonuses, Verstappen's annual income could rise to as much as $120 million.
Verstappen recently signed a new contract with Red Bull that runs until 2030.
According to media reports, the new deal will make him the highest-paid driver in Formula 1. Verstappen currently shares the status of the championship's top earner with Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton, while Charles Leclerc is also among the three highest-paid drivers.
In his first race after the announcement of the new contract, Verstappen crashed his car and failed to finish his home Dutch Grand Prix.
