Training sessions for volunteers are continuing as part of preparations for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
As reported by İdman.Biz, media representatives were given an opportunity to observe the volunteers' training process today.
During the session, participants received information about the organisation of the race, their responsibilities during the event and various situations they could encounter while carrying out their duties.
The event also highlighted the development of the Baku City Circuit's volunteer programme and the results achieved over the past decade, as Azerbaijan prepares to mark the 10th anniversary of hosting a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
It was noted that the programme gives young people an opportunity not only to take part in a major international sporting event, but also to acquire new knowledge and skills, communicate with people from different countries and gain valuable professional experience.
The volunteer programme has become an important part of the organisational structure of the Formula 1 weekend in Baku, helping prepare personnel for various operational areas of the event.
The 2026 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on September 24-26 at the Baku City Circuit.
