Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson has shared his thoughts on the psychological pressure faced by drivers in the Formula 1 championship.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing Racingnews365, the New Zealand racer noted that the real level of pressure in the pinnacle of motorsport cannot be fully understood beforehand.
According to Lawson, he has been dealing with pressure since a young age, but the Red Bull system operates in a very specific way.
“From an early age, I was constantly under pressure. But Red Bull is a different environment. When I signed with the Bulls, the pressure started immediately to prepare me for Formula 1. Everything here is completely different from other racing series. I don’t think you can prepare for the real pressure of Formula 1. At the same time, you simply don’t have time to think about it,” Lawson emphasized.
