Former Qarabag and Shkendija player Artim Sakiri evaluated the upcoming second leg match between the two teams in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
The 51-year-old expert told Futbolinfo.az that the chances are equal, Idman.biz reports.
In his opinion, Qarabag’s 1-0 away win does not mean everything is decided: “Qarabag gained some advantage by winning the first match in North Macedonia. However, I don’t think it’s a big advantage because Shkendija did not perform poorly in the game in Skopje. It was just that both teams’ goalkeepers showed excellent performances that day. I think the chances are still fifty-fifty. In football, one goal is not a serious advantage, and Shkendija is strong enough to close that gap.”
Today’s game at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium will start at 20:00.
