This was stated by Bahadur Haziyev, the new signing of “Sabail,” which will compete in the First League next season, in an interview with Sport24.az, Idman.biz reports.
Commenting on his return to his former club, Haziyev said: “I had three other offers besides Sabail, but I chose the Bayil representatives. I played for this club a few years ago, so there was no problem adapting. This season, our team's goal is to win the First League championship. The management really wants “Sabail” to return to the Premier League. We will do our best for that. There are other ambitious teams in the First League, but I hope “Sabail” will stand out with its performance. There are experienced players in the squad. We all believe we will achieve our goal. The club’s management, coaching staff, and players are eagerly awaiting the new season.”
Bahadur previously played for “Sabail” in the 2019/2020, 2020/2021, and 2023/2024 seasons.
