According to Idman.biz, these are the words of Ilkin Gyrtymov, the player who has parted ways with “Kapaz,” speaking to Sport24.az.
The experienced defender spoke about his departure from the Ganja-based club: “I hope it benefits both sides. I wish success to those who supported me there. The Kapaz fans deserve the best. I had a conversation with Ilgar Nadiri and Adil Shukurov. I explained the situation. Thanks to them for understanding. In other words, I left the team by my own decision.”
Gyrtymov also revealed that “Kapaz” had offered him a new contract: “Yes, I could have stayed at the club. It just seemed more appropriate this way. I have another offer, and I’ll most likely consider it.”
Ilkin Gyrtymov joined the Ganja side last season and appeared in 17 league matches.
