A new foreign player has joined Neftchi's training camp currently taking place in Poland.
Idman.biz, citing Futbolxeber.az, reports that it is Bosnian goalkeeper Kenan Piric.
The 30-year-old shot-stopper will soon undergo a medical examination. If no issues arise, Neftchi will officially sign a contract with Piric.
The goalkeeper from Bosnia and Herzegovina began his career at local club Gradina. Over the years, he has played for Gent (Belgium), Sloboda Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Zrinjski Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Maribor (Slovenia), Atromitos (Greece), Goztepe (Turkiye), and AEK (Cyprus). Most recently, Piric played for Alanyaspor. Since joining the Turkish Super Lig club in 2024, he has made 30 appearances.
Kenan Piric has been called up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team since 2008 and has earned 8 caps.
