Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembele has compared Luis Enrique's PSG with Zinedine Zidane's French national team.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Dembele believes there are several similarities between the two sides, particularly in terms of attacking freedom and their desire to control possession.
"There is quite a lot in common between Luis Enrique's PSG and Zidane's France. Zidane gives the forwards more freedom. I wouldn't say it's the same philosophy, but rather that we try to enjoy ourselves on the pitch. As Zidane says, the team plays and wants to have the ball. There are many similarities," Dembele was quoted as saying by UEFA.
France will face Italy in the UEFA Nations League on October 2.
"We know the history of the rivalry with Italy. It's a special match for everyone. We've talked about it with the team and the coach, but we remain focused on what we need to do, on our strengths and on what he wants to build. It will be nice to return to the Stade de France," Dembele added.
