Azerbaijan's team of deputies played its first match in the Inter-Parliamentary Football Tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani representative met the final winner of the competition.
The match, which took place in "Glorias Sports Arena" in Antalya, ended with a 4:2 victory of the Romanians.
Members of Milli Majlis, who are in Group B, will play their next game against Georgia today at 16:30. Turkiye, Hungary and Bulgaria will compete in group A.
It should be noted that the teams of parliaments of 6 countries are competing in the competition held in Antalya. According to the regulations, the group leaders will play in the final, and the runners-up will play for the bronze medal.
