A possible player swap could take place between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
The English club is ready to offer French defender Ibrahima Konate and an additional €35 million to acquire Brazilian winger Rodrygo from Madrid, Idman.biz reports.
Konate has long been on Real Madrid’s radar, the player himself has expressed a desire to play at the Santiago Bernabeu. Liverpool does not want to lose the defender for free when his contract expires in 2026, as happened previously with Trent Alexander-Arnold.
According to ESPN Brasil, Liverpool has already initiated talks with Rodrygo. Following a lackluster performance at the Club World Cup, the Brazilian is reportedly concerned about losing his place in the national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup and is open to a transfer for more playing time.
