Sumgayit have strengthened their attack with a new forward.
Idman.biz, citing Sportinfo.az, reports that the Sumgayit have brought back Alexandre Ramalingom to Azerbaijan, the striker had previously left Sabail in the summer of last year.
Looking to build an ambitious squad, the representative of the Sumgayit has signed a 1+1 year deal with the Madagascar national team striker.
Ramalingom played for Sabail during the 2022–2023 seasons, scoring 17 goals and providing 1 assist during his time there.
After leaving Azerbaijan, he continued his career in Israel.
The 32-year-old forward joined Bnei Sakhnin and signed a contract until the summer of 2025. He has now returned as a free agent.
