The captain of the Turan Tovuz spoke about the team's goals for the upcoming season: "Last season, our goal was also to qualify for the European competitions. It didn’t happen at the last moment. This year, our goal remains the same. As a team, we are working hard for it. We are preparing more seriously and trying not to repeat the mistakes from last season. I believe we will be ready for the new season and fight for European competitions. Maybe in the recently ended 'football year,' we could have achieved this. The points we lost in some matches cost us dearly. This time, we need to collect as many points as possible so that such situations do not occur at the end. Some players have left. I thank each of them. They did their best for the success of the team. We also have new players. A few more will join. Transfers don’t happen in a day. You need to see all their qualities and bring in players who can benefit the team. That’s why there are some difficulties in transfers. I believe the newcomers will strengthen us, and we can be one of the contenders in the championship."
