The total prize fund for the Club World Cup in the United States has been announced.
Idman.biz reports, citing BBC Sport, that the prize fund is 775 million pounds sterling.
This amount will be divided between 32 clubs.
Clubs will receive the amounts determined for each stage:
The team that wins the group stage will receive 1.5 million pounds, and the one that draws will receive 800 thousand pounds.
1/8 finals: 5.8 million pounds
1/4 finals: 10.1 million pounds
1/2 finals: 16.2 million pounds
Finalist: 23.2 million pounds
Winner: 30 million pounds
The winner of the tournament can win up to 97 million pounds.
