The Azerbaijan women’s national football team is preparing for its final match in the UEFA Nations League group stage.
The team will take on Lithuania in their last Group 4 fixture of League C, Idman.biz reports.
With promotion to League B at stake, head coach Siyasat Asgarov's side is aiming not only to secure a win but also to score as many goals as possible to strengthen their position at the top of the group.
The match will be held at Bayil Stadium in Baku and will kick off at 18:00 local time. A referee team from Israel, led by Sapir Gaya Berman, will officiate the game.
