The winner of the UEFA Conference League will be decided in Wrocław, Poland.

Betis finished 6th in the Spanish La Liga this season, securing a spot in next year’s Europa League. Meanwhile, Chelsea ended the Premier League campaign in 4th place, earning qualification for the next Champions League. While Chelsea is a seasoned European competitor — having won multiple continental trophies, including two Champions League titles — this marks the first time in Betis’s history that they have reached the final of a European competition.
As for their previous encounters, the two clubs faced each other in the 2005 Champions League group stage, with Chelsea winning 4–0 in one match and Betis claiming a 1–0 victory in the other. Betis is also known in Azerbaijan for being the former club of renowned Azerbaijani footballer Vali Gasimov.
