A mini-football championship among the structures of the ministry dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" was held at the open-air stadium of the Sports and Health Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
About 220 athletes from 20 teams of the apparatus and structures of the MES participated in the championship. The chief referee of the championship was Rasim Alizade, Idman.biz reports.
The event, which began with the playing of the National Anthem, commemorated the dear memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who gave their lives for the Motherland with a minute of silence.
Fuzuli Musayev, head of the Sports and Health Club of the MES, spoke about the attention and care shown to the development of sports at the state level in our country, and spoke about the determined struggle demonstrated by the athletes of the ministry in separate competitions, and the achievements achieved.
In the match for 3rd place in the five-day championship, the Special Risk Rescue Service (SRRS) team defeated the team from the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and won the bronze medal of the championship. In the final, the State Fire Protection Service (SFRS) team faced the Civil Defense Troops team.
SFRS team won 3:0 and became the champion of the competition.
