Zira footballer Jeyhun Nuriyev said these words in a statement to Sport24.az, Idman.biz reports.
He shared his thoughts on receiving an invitation to the Azerbaijani national team: "I am very happy to have been invited. Like every true Azerbaijani, I am proud to be here and play. We have two tough tests ahead of us. We don't care if it's a friendly match. We will give our all on the field. Hopefully, we will achieve the result we deserve."
Azerbaijani national team will play a friendly match against Latvia on June 7 and against Hungary in Baku for three days.
