Although the Baku club was the champion in the 2011/12 and 2021/22 seasons, it could not obtain a license for the Premier League.
The team, which took 2nd place in the I League in the 2012/13, 2015/16, 2017/18 and 2023/24 seasons, was content with 3rd place in the 2013/14 season. Garadagh Lokbatan took last place in the 2019/20 season, as it is now. However, the 13-team championship was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic, and since there was no second group, the relegation rule did not work.
