AC Milan have made a decisive move regarding the future of head coach Sérgio Conceição, announcing that the Portuguese tactician will step down at the end of the season.
Conceição took charge of the Rossoneri in December 2024 and managed to secure the Italian Super Cup during his tenure, Idman.biz reports.
However, Milan’s disappointing 8th place finish in Serie A has reportedly left club executives dissatisfied, prompting the decision.
In addition to the coaching change, João Félix will also leave the club. The Portuguese forward, who was on loan from Chelsea, is set to return to his parent club.
Milan's underwhelming season was further compounded by a 1–0 loss to Bologna in the Coppa Italia final, adding pressure to initiate changes ahead of the next campaign.
