Sumgayit has offered new contracts to two of its leading players.
Idman.biz, citing Sport24.az, reports that the club’s management is aiming to extend the contracts of Elvin Badalov and Murad Khachayev, whose current deals expire at the end of the season.
Initial talks have already taken place with both players. However, no agreement has been reached so far, as both Badalov and Khachayev have rejected the club’s initial terms.
Badalov has been with Sumgayit since 2019, while Khachayev has been part of the team since 2018.
