The Sabail football club will not pay compensation to former head coach Shahin Diniyev, who resigned a few days ago, according to Report.az.
Idman.biz reports that the club’s executive director, Firuz Abdulla, clarified the situation, stating there is no question of compensation:
"The claims about us paying compensation are not true. Shakhin Diniyev resigned voluntarily and has not made any financial demands from the club. He will only receive the salary for the last month he worked."
The 58-year-old coach resigned after the Misli Premier League’s 12th round match between Sabail and Kapaz (0:1). Currently, Sabail stands in ninth place in the league table with 8 points.
