Manchester United has made a decision concerning their former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.
According to Idman.biz, the 82-year-old football legend will be relieved of his role as the club’s ambassador.
Ferguson will no longer serve as an ambassador after the current season ends. This decision is part of the club’s cost-cutting measures. Manchester United, which has been paying the Scotsman £2.16 million annually, decided to reduce these expenses.
Club shareholder Jim Ratcliffe discussed the matter with Ferguson, and both parties reached a mutual agreement.
Ferguson served as Manchester United's manager from 1986 to 2013.
