He commented on their game against Qarabag (2:1) in the first Champions League third qualifying round game. The 23-year-old midfielder, who opened the score, said that although they did not start the match well, they took the initiative after the first 15 minutes: "I think we didn’t start the match quite well. But after 15 minutes we kept the ball and controlled the game. Qarabag is a very good team with high-quality players. It was not the end. We are very happy to win away, but we have a home match."
According to him, the second match in Bulgaria will not be easy: "Again, it will be a very tough match. At home, we’ll have more advantages."
The return match between the teams will be held on August 13.
