Graham Potter has held talks with Ajax over a potential return to managements.
The 48 years old boss has turned down their offer, Idman.biz reports.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag and Liverpool assistant Pep Lijnders are among those who have been linked with Ajax this summer, though alternative options are also being explored.
It should be noted that Potter has been out of work since he was axed by the Blues last April.
