Our main task is to win a license for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games. My self-confidence has increased. Also, I am considered the favorite in my weight. I strongly believe that I will win a license in this competition. A qualification for the Olympics is more important than the European championship. Of course, since it's an Olympic year, it would be great if I could get a license. I have enough experience. Even if I won the title of European champion at this age, I would say that I was late."
According to Mammadli, he has not yet been able to obtain a wrestling license from Europe in his weight: "For this reason, the competition will be very difficult and full of struggles. Bulgarians, Turks, Moldovans, etc. participated in the competition. there will be strong competitors. The fact that this tournament will be held in Baku gives us an additional incentive. Because we need the support of our fans. I invite everyone to the arena to support us on the race day."
