English football club Chelsea have officially announced the appointment of a new head coach.
According to Idman.Biz, the London side will be led by Liam Rosenior. The information had previously been confirmed by insider Fabrizio Romano.
After taking charge, Rosenior made an emotional statement, stressing the special importance of this step in his career. He said that the offer from Chelsea was an opportunity impossible to refuse.
"To be the head coach of a great club like Chelsea, a team with world champion status, is an incredible opportunity. It is impossible to turn down such an offer," the specialist said.
Rosenior also recalled his previous work in France: "Those 18 months at Strasbourg were the best time of my life."
Chelsea’s management view Rosenior as a key figure in a long-term project. The club plan to rebuild the squad, placing their trust in a young and promising coach known for his tactical flexibility and ability to work with young players.
