Forbes USA has released its ranking of the 50 most valuable sports teams in the world, and the vast majority are from the United States, with American football clubs dominating the top 10.
The Dallas Cowboys remain in first place every year since 2016 with an estimated value of $13 billion. Thirty of the 32 NFL teams are included in the top 50 list, along with a number of NBA, MLB and other franchises.
Only four European football clubs made the list:
* Real Madrid – 20th place; $6.75 billion
* Manchester United – 24th place; $6.6 billion
* Barcelona – 42nd place; $5.65 billion
* Liverpool – 48th place; $5.4 billion
The ranking also includes two Formula 1 teams - Ferrari (26th; $6.5 billion) and Mercedes (34th; $6 billion).
Notably, NHL clubs did not appear in the top 50 list.
The full ranking highlights the dominance of US sports franchises in global valuation, with NFL teams especially well represented among the most valuable clubs worldwide.
