Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has commented on reports about a possible move to Manchester City in the event of Pep Guardiola’s departure, calling such claims speculation, Idman.Biz reports.
“Rumors about a possible move to Manchester City? It is 100 percent speculation. I have no time for that. I have a contract with Chelsea until 2029. I am fully focused on this club and proud to be here. It is important to understand why these stories appeared, but they are just speculation,” Maresca told reporters.
Speaking about his future, the coach emphasized that he has no plans to change clubs. “Yes, absolutely. I have a contract until June 2029,” journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Maresca as saying.
