Azerbaijani parataekwondo athlete Amin Aliyev was thrilled to meet “Qarabag” footballer Kady Borges, calling the encounter unexpected.
“It was an unexpected moment for me. I didn’t expect to meet my favorite footballer and have a close conversation with him. I am grateful to Kady Borges for this. I was very excited. It was a great meeting. My family and loved ones were also happy for me and congratulated me when they heard the news,” Aliyev told Report.
The young paralympian added that the meeting will serve as extra motivation for his upcoming competitions. “My greatest dream is to become a Paralympic champion and raise our flag high,” he said.
