Kapaz fined 10,000 manats by AFFA Disciplinary Committee

Misli Premier League club Kapaz has been fined 10,000 manats.

Idman.Biz reports that the decision was made at a meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.

The sanctions stem from incidents during the team’s Matchday 9 fixture against Imishli. In the 25th minute, Kapaz goalkeeper Mammad Huseynov received a direct red card for a serious foul that resulted in injury. He has been suspended for four matches, and the club fined 1,000 manats.

Additionally, in the 38th minute, Ganja club supporters collectively directed insulting remarks toward the referees - a repeated offense this season - resulting in a 6,000-manat fine. The use of pyrotechnics by fans in the 68th minute led to a further 3,000-manat penalty.

Neftchi was fined 3,000 manats after their supporters used pyrotechnics following the Gabala–Neftchi match.

In the same round, Sabah was fined 700 manats after four of its players received yellow cards during the Araz-Nakhchivan vs Sabah match.
