A football festival for children aged 10–13 was held at the Nakhchivan Central Stadium as part of UEFA Grassroots Football Week, organized by AFFA with the support of UEFA and EA Sports.

At the opening ceremony, Vice-President of the Nakhchivan Football Federation Arif Khudiyev, Secretary General Raqif Abbasov, Head of the Sports Department of the Nakhchivan Ministry of Youth and Sports Taleh Ibrahimov, Deputy Head of Nakhchivan City Executive Authority Gulkhanim Orujova, representative of the Nakhchivan Ministry of Education Safar Taghiyev, and Head of AFFA’s Grassroots Football Department Farrukh Ismayilov delivered welcoming speeches, wishing the participants success in their future lives.
More than 100 children played football and enjoyed their time at the festival. At the end of the event, officials of the Nakhchivan Football Federation and AFFA presented each child with footballs sent by UEFA.
