AFFA President Rovshan Najaf congratulated Azerbaijan’s U-16 football team for their 4–0 victory over Kyrgyzstan at the III CIS Games in Gabala, Idman.biz reports.
Najaf shared a message celebrating the achievement:
“Today, Azerbaijan’s U-16 national team played their second match at the III CIS Games in Gabala. Our team defeated Kyrgyzstan 4–0 and qualified for the tournament final. I congratulate our players and coaching staff on this remarkable victory and wish the team success in the final match,” he said.
The final will take place on October 4 at the Gabala City Stadium, where Azerbaijan will face Russia’s U-16 team.
