Three-year-old Sarvagya Singh Kushwaha from Madhya Pradesh, India, has been registered as the youngest member of the International Chess Federation (FIDE).
Idman.Biz reports that he was officially accepted as a FIDE member at the age of 3 years, 7 months, and 20 days.

With this achievement, Sarvagya broke the record previously held by fellow Indian Anish Sarkar, who became a FIDE member at 3 years, 8 months, and 19 days.

Sarvagya has also distinguished himself in a number of chess tournaments held in India and currently holds a rating of 1572.
