Today, the Azerbaijan Boxing Championship among youth will start.
Idman.biz reports that the winners of 13 weight classes will be determined in the competition to be held at the Boxing Center.
227 male boxers from 59 teams representing clubs from different cities and regions of the Azerbaijan, as well as sports societies, will participate in the championship. The opening ceremony of the competition will start at 13:30, the fights will start at 14:00. The names of the winners will be announced on November 6.
The winners will be included in the national team and will represent Azerbaijan in international competitions.
It should be noted that the supervisor of the championship will be Dragoljub Radovic from Serbia, and the head judge will be Anar Babanli. Alexander Hamidov from Uzbekistan and Jamila Borkoyeva from Kyrgyzstan will act as judges.
