The Azerbaijani national beach volleyball teams have departed for Austria today to participate in the European Championships.
Our representatives will first take part in the U-22 European Championship held in Austria from August 14-17, followed by the U-20 European Championship organized in Spain from August 20-25, Idman.biz reports.
Our country will be represented at both tournaments by teams of boys (Muhammad Aslanli/Ibrahim Mammadov; reserve team Nariman Bayramli/Tural Asgarov) and girls (Sabina Alizada/Jamila Bashirova).
The head coach of the girls' team is Nihad Tarverdiyev, while the boys' team is coached by Atvars Vilde.
