Emin Amrullayev, president of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF), met with Mirkan Aydin, president of the well-known Turkish women's basketball club Nesibe Aydın.
The meeting focused on the development of women's basketball between the two countries, joint projects, and mutual exchange of experience, Idman.biz reports.
Both parties also discussed prospects for organizing joint tournaments and training programs for female basketball players across various age groups in the future.
Amrullayev spoke about the benefits of learning from Turkish basketball's regional experience and highly praised the achievements of the Nesibe Aydın club in women's basketball. In return, Mirkan Aydin acknowledged the progress observed in Azerbaijani basketball in recent years and expressed confidence that future collaborations will yield successful results.
