Azerbaijan's U16 boys' basketball team has finished second at the EVOQ Challenge Cup Pre Season Yalova international tournament in Türkiye.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation announced the result.
The national team reached the final after winning all three of its matches in the group stage.
Azerbaijan defeated Viktor Sanikidze Academy Basketball 94:43, Bakırköy Kartaltepe 65:54 and Eskişehir Gelişim Falcons 54:53.
In the final, the Azerbaijani team faced Konya Diltaş Basketbol and suffered a narrow 69:73 defeat, finishing the tournament as runners-up.
