He compared the Azerbaijan Basketball League with previous years. Azimov said that the national championship will become stronger every year: "All teams with a chance to eliminate Sheki have a chance for the playoffs. I think that the fight in this season is many times stronger than the previous ones. The teams that were at the top last year cannot play with the teams that are in this season. This year only 5 teams are doing very well. Leaders today do not mean weak or strong. This makes us very happy. It is also a good thing that the stands are full. There is great interest in the Azerbaijan League."
