The drawing ceremony of the Azerbaijan Basketball Cup was held in the administrative building of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation.
Idman.biz reports that 10 teams were divided into 2 groups based on the draw.
"Neftchi", "Khazri", "Jalilabad", "Khirdalan" and "Sumgait" will compete in group A. "Sabah", NTD-INDIGO, "Sarhadchi", "Ganja" and "Sheki" clubs took place in group B.
The matches will be held in March and April next year at the "Sarhadchi" Sports Complex. The group games will be played in a round-robin format and the top two clubs will qualify for the semi-finals.
It should be noted that according to the regulations of the Azerbaijan Basketball Cup, there must be 3 local basketball players on the court during the game.
