Azerbaijan's U-16 boys’ basketball team has played its final group match in Division C of the European Championship.
The national team faced Gibraltar, Idman.biz reports.
The match ended with a 69–40 victory for Azerbaijan (14:9, 14:15, 25:2, 16:14).
Earlier, the team had defeated San Marino 105–60 but lost to Andorra (42–52) and Luxembourg (38–86), finishing third in the group with 6 points.
Azerbaijan will now compete in the classification games for 5th to 9th place in the continental championship.
