- Two days later we will face "Gabala". What can you say about the preparation for the game?
- It will be a difficult game. The position of "Gabala" in the tournament table should not mislead anyone. I agree, they have dropped a lot of points this season. But they had a great performance last season. They won the Azerbaijan Cup and took the 4th place in the Premier League. The team that won this result cannot be weak. Moreover, the game will be held in their field.
- How is the situation in the team?
- We played very well against Sabah. We could even win. This gives us additional motivation. Both teams will come out to win. Our head coach will tell us how we will play one day before the game. He demands a good indication from us. He wants us to fight for victory every time we come out.
- Can the results of the first cycle be evaluated positively?
- Let's look a little earlier. The team had just arrived from the First League, there were almost very few players in the squad. Players were invited shortly before the start of the season. A new championship, a different country and mentality... Of course, it took time to adapt. We didn't even have a meeting as a team. However, our head coach convinced us that we will get a good result. I consider the results positive.
- In which game did you regret the result recorded?
- I was upset about the result in the game with "Sabail". We played better than the opponent, and we had more real scoring chances than them. Unfortunately, the penalty awarded near the end made our suffering futile. But there should be such games so that you don't lose motivation. In almost every game, we have more chances to stand out, but we can't convert them all into goals.
- By the way, you scored one goal in 9 games. What does it mean to be less different?
- I believe in my teammates, I know that they will create all conditions for me to score. I have no worries in this regard. My main problem was adaptation. Different country, new league, team, players I have never played with, etc. The desire of the head coach is also different. I thank Azer Bagirov, he always tells me that he believes in me, instructs me to be decisive, and gives me a chance. If my team and head coach need me, then I am a happy person. I also try to do my best. My problems are behind me, now I'm ready.
- Which team in the Premier League do you like?
- However, I would prefer "Qarabag". This team is made up of better quality players and plays well. Everyone mentioned the names of "Sabah" and "Neftci". But my choice is this: "Qarabag" plays completely different football in this Championship.
