Elmar Bakhshiyev has responded to reports suggesting that he is the leading candidate to become the new head coach of Gabala.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the Azerbaijani specialist stressed that he is not currently in negotiations with any club.
"I haven't held talks with anyone. It's impossible to comment on something that doesn't exist," Bakhshiyev told Report.az.
Bakhshiyev previously served as Gabala's head coach from 2020 to 2024.
The regional club parted ways with Georgian head coach Kakhaber Tskhadadze by mutual consent on Monday.
Local media had earlier reported that Bakhshiyev could return to Gabala and take charge of the team for a second time.
