Qarabağ president Tahir Gozal has congratulated Sabah on securing a place in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Gozal made the remarks in a statement published on Qarabağ's official website.
"I sincerely congratulate Sabah on this important achievement. It was a special source of pride and joy for me to witness such a victory from the stadium. The fact that the Azerbaijani flag will once again fly in the league phase of the Champions League makes this result even more valuable for us and represents a major achievement for our football and our people as a whole.
"On behalf of Qarabağ, I wish Sabah every success in the league phase of the Champions League and hope the team will represent our country with dignity in this prestigious competition," Gozal said.
Sabah secured their place in the Champions League league phase after eliminating Israel's Hapoel Beer-Sheva 6-4 on aggregate in the play-off round.
