The Misli Premier League has entered the top three football championships in the post-Soviet space in terms of the total market value of its players.
According to Idman.Biz, the combined market value of footballers competing in the Azerbaijan Premier League is estimated at 125.9 million euros (259.9 million manats). By this indicator, the Azerbaijani championship ranks third, behind only Russia and Ukraine, while surpassing leagues such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.
It is noted that the Misli Premier League’s strong position is supported by the consistent participation of its clubs in European competitions, the growth in the transfer value of foreign players, and the maintenance of a competitive level within the domestic championship.
