Today in Baku, the Azerbaijani national championship and competition in archery has officially started.
Over 60 athletes representing various regions of the country are participating in the tournament, Idman.biz reports.
Male and female archers are competing in three age categories.
Participants tested their skills during practice sessions in preparation for the competition.
The event will continue on August 29 with the ranking rounds. The final stage will take place on August 30, when the championship winners will be determined and the award ceremony held.
